Badoeum Temple
The ruins of the Badoeum Temple are located in Sam Khuoy commune, Se San district. The temple was built in the reign of King Jayavarman I during the 6-7th centuries, in dedication to Brahmanism, with most of the construction material being either brick or sandstone.

This temple is one of the oldest temples of Stung Treng province; however, because of old age and its remote location, the temple's tower has collapsed a long time ago. But there are still some beautiful and interesting lintels and bas-reliefs remaining, one of the most important being a complete piece of stone inscription in the Khmer language. 

For a long time, few visitors went to the temple because of the bad road conditions; however, a recently constructed red-soil road has made the temple more easily accessible for tourists.
