This landmark property is operated by a well-known international brand and is probably both the best and the most expensive hotel in Yangon. This gem is an intimate colonial style hotel that was restored in the 1990s to its original glory. Remaining true to this mission there is no swimming pool or fitness center. That said, the furnishings and teakwood floors are fantastic. There is no front desk as such. Guests who arrive are taken directly up to their rooms. Each guest has a private butler who waits outside the door just down the hallway. Rooms are beautiful and are so spacious with large walk in closets. Indeed, an excellent place of stay.
